During the course of the day, I tend to leave the television on Fox News Channel for background noise, kind of like some people leave the radio on. It tends to be repetitive during the day, so I don't pay that much attention to it. My two-year-old daughter and I just go about our business counting and coloring.
This morning, we were getting ready to go out shopping, and I had a replay of last night's Hannity and Colmes on. They started talking about the polls that have come out recently on Obama and his trip. My daughter turned to me and said, "Obama!" I was floored.
I fast-forwarded to a part where they were talking about some McCain numbers, and I asked her, "McCain?" She didn't respond. They started talking about Obama again, and she yelled out gleefully, "Obama!"
So what does this tell us? Since kids learn through repetition, I think Fox News Channel has been talking WAY too much about Obama! And if FNC discusses him that much, then you can imagine what my daughter would be saying if I left it on MSNBC!
